Mid Week Water Challenge Check-In

Good Morning yall, today is day three of this water challenge, and OMG I think my bladder is about to explode.

If you read my Monday challenge, then you know I was “motivated” to do this water challenge. Each day I’m supposed to drink 84 ounces of water(half my body weight) for seven days.

Day 1:
Okay, I straight killed it on day one. I had my water infused with lemons, strawberries, and mint. I even purchased a new 32-ounce cup as well as a gallon of water.

The first day I drank roughly 64 ounces of water which for me is astounding.

Day 2:
This day was very challenging as I did not infuse my water, but never the less, I was ready to get my drink on. I poured my first 32 ounces of water and traveled from Smyrna, TN. into Nashville, TN. (about 30 minutes), to my cardiologist appointment. As I sat in the lobby patiently waiting, mother nature called.

I returned to the lobby before being called to the back area for my echocardiogram. Because I’m such a special case-patient, it was hard for the sonographers to locate my aorta. While they searched and searched, mother nature snuck up on me again. What the heck!!! I waited almost an hour and finally said I’m sorry but I have to go to the bathroom.

I returned from the bathroom and after 20-minutes they finally found it. I eventually finished and had to now wait for my actual appointment with the cardiologist. Yes, you guessed it mother nature called, AGAIN.

Note to self, never do a water challenge when you have a doctors appointment. Needless to say, day 2 was a little more tramatic and I barely made it to two bottles.

Day 3:
Now we are in Day 3. I hope today proves to be just as good if not better than day 1. Please pray for me as I continue this water journey.

Hopefully by next Monday, mother nature will stop talking to me on an hourly bases.
